Early Head Start – Home-Based Option

Early Head Start Home Base option is offered in Anoka and Washington County.

  • Free program for pregnant women and children from birth to three
  • Weekly home visit
  • Highly qualified staff
  • Individualized activities for you and your child
  • Monthly socialization at the FDC
  • Preschool screenings

Early Head Start – Child Care Partnership (EHS-CCP)
This program option is for children six weeks to 36 months.

  • Families must be receiving Child Care Assistance (CCA) or on the waitlist
  • Children attend our child care partnership sites located in the following centers:
  • Center Based programs:
    • CAPE (Teen Program) – Anoka
    • Crayon Box – Fridley
    • New Horizon Academy – Andover
    • New Horizon Academy – Coon Rapids
    • New Horizon Academy – Columbia Heights
    • New Horizon Academy – Fridley
  • Family Child Care programs:
    • Little Hawari – Spring Lake Park
    • The Crayon Box – Coon Rapids
